There are six meetings in Britain and Ireland on Wednesday, with NH fans in for a busy afternoon. They have Ayr, Ludlow and Newbury to get stuck into on eased decent ground, with some decent handicaps to solve at the Berkshire venue in particular (alongside a few potential star novices from the top southern yards). AW fans have low grade action to study, with Dundalk, Lingfield and Newcastle keeping bookmakers and punters busy right through to the evening under lights.

Richard Bandey is a shrewd trainer to keep on side of over the next few seasons, and his unexposed novice created a terrific impression when finishing second on chasing debut over this course and distance in November (heavily backed, jumping well under a patient ride).
