There are five meetings in Britain and Ireland on Tuesday, with Chelmsford (AW), Lingfield (AW) and Newcastle AW) providing some competitive all-weather action to keep bookmakers and punters busy into the evening under lights. Jumps fans have two cards to get stuck into on easy ground, with Fairyhouse and Warwick both putting on varied races with some fascinating runners from the top yards reappearing for the first time this winter.
In this article:
Max’s Champ
Warwick 2:30 (UK time)
Sam Drinkwater does very well each season with a relatively small team of horses, and his smooth-travelling 7-y-o is fancied to relish the sharp left-handed track at Warwick on Tuesday. He has yet to win in five runs over hurdles in fair maiden/novice company, but travelled really strongly when last seen out at Hereford in April (strong form), and now goes into handicaps from a very attractive opening mark back down in trip to two miles under Robbie Dunne.
Odds: NA
Hartur D’oudairies
Warwick 3:05 (UK time)
Dan Skelton snapped a quiet spell with a double on Saturday, and his promising novice is expected to make a winning chasing/seasonal debut here under Harry Skelton. He ran to a useful level in defeat on two occasions last winter, and his opening handicap mark now switched to the larger obstacles may well underestimate his potential to improve now upped in trip to 2m4f.
Odds: NA
