There are five meetings in Britain on Tuesday, with competitive jumping action keeping punters and bookmakers busy all through the afternoon and evening. Fixtures at Fakenham, Ffos Las and Ludlow provide a mixture of competitive handicaps/novices over hurdles and fences at a modest level. There is also AW action from Lingfield and Newcastle, with a twilight meeting at 5.40pm at the latter venue.
In this article:
Beau Roc
Lingfield 2:20 (UK time)
George Boughey has his team in terrific form with a cracking collection of unexposed young horses, and his consistent filly has been found a great opening to shed her maiden tag at Lingfield on Tuesday. She has run with credit in defeat in the frame on all six career starts so far, catching the eye after missing the break at Wolverhampton last time out, and a more positive ride (in a three runner race) from the 5lb claimer Connor Planas is on the cards here.
Odds: NA
Jungle Run
Lingfield 2:50 (UK time)
Tom Clover’s handicapper has won 2 from 9 on the all-weather so far, and ran really well when second after four months off the track last time out at Wolverhampton (well backed 7/2f but never quite landed a blow on the enterprisingly ridden winner Another Angel). He remains on an attractive mark on the pick of his back-form, and the booking of David Egan in a modest looking class 5 sprint certainly increases confidence.
Odds: NA
