There are 3 meetings in Britain on Tuesday, with modest jumps action from Ayr and Lingfield sure to attract most of the betting action. Newcastle stage a twilight all-weather card, with low grade handicaps very much the order of the day, and the floodlights coming on at 4.55pm.

Hudson de Grugy
Lingfield 3:00 (UK time)
Gary Moore has enjoyed a fantastic winter so far with a cracking team of young horses, and his novice chaser has been found a terrific opening to get off the mark over fences at Lingfield on Tuesday. He was a winning hurdler at a fairly useful level, and has been very highly tried in warm races so far in three starts over the larger obstacle’s this winter. Niall Houlihan seems sure to be positive from the front in this small field against modest rivals, and he is likely to be very hard to pass on drying ground.
Odds: NA
Godot
Lingfield 2:00 (UK time)
Andy Irvine’s unexposed sort has shaped better than the bare result on all four starts over hurdles so far, with his stamina running out over longer trips at Huntingdon and Fontwell in recent months. He drops back to a bare two miles here under Luke Scott, and a more positive ride on drying ground can see him prove too good for these class 5 rivals.
Odds: NA
