There are four remaining meetings in Britain and Ireland on Tuesday, with The Curragh, Catterick and Newcastle (AW) providing some competitive action to keep bookmakers and punters busy through to the evening. Jumps fans have Chepstow to study (Bangor abandoned waterlogged), with some fascinating runners from the top yards reappearing on the easy ground.

Chepstow 2:05 (UK time)
Nigel Twiston-Davies has his team in blistering form as the NH season kicks up a gear (4w/23r last 14 days), and his progressive mare is fancied to make a winning reappearance at Chepstow on Tuesday. She won 2 from 6 over hurdles last term, revelling in testing ground over this course and distance in March, and can be forgiven a lesser effort on her final run at Ayr. Fitness will not be an issue after 7 months on the sidelines, and an attacking ride from the front is on the cards from the excellent Sam Twiston-Davies.
Odds: NA
Eclair de Guye
Chepstow 1:30 (UK time)
Lucy Wadham’s 9-y-o did not really go on after finishing second in a competitive Catterick handicap in January (pulled up in bad ground next time possibly affected confidence), but he returns to the fray here on an attractive mark and fresh first time out could be the time to catch him under Tom Cannon. He is a thorough stayer who should get a strong pace to aim at in this big field, and the yard is beginning to hit top form after a quiet few months over the summer.
Odds: NA
