There are five meetings in Britain and Ireland on Tuesday, with competitive flat racing dominating from Beverley, Killarney, Lingfield (AW) and Nottingham. NH fans have the evening card at Southwell to get stuck into, with the action getting underway at 5.35pm.
In this article:
On Borrowed Time
Beverley 2:35 (UK time)
Ollie Pears juvenile overcame inexperience to make a winning start at Redcar in June, very slowly away, repeatedly checked when closing but showing a tenacious attitude to floor the long odds-on favourite right on the post. She was unable to land a blow after another missed break at Chester last time out in a traditionally strong seller, but that has certainly not harmed her opening mark and she can defy topweight and make a winning handicap debut under Cam Hardie.
Odds: NA
Fifty Sent
Beverley 3:10 (UK time)
Michael Dods has his team in blistering form in the north at the moment, and his consistent handicapper has optimum conditions to win again at Beverley on Tuesday. He possibly failed to quite stay 1m3f at Hamilton last time out having tracked a fair gallop, and this drop back in trip should be ideal under Connor Beasley (two promising efforts at this track in the past when still inexperienced/getting fit).
Odds: NA
