There are four meetings in Britain on Sunday, with competitive flat cards at Doncaster, Gowran Park and Salisbury sure to attract big family crowds (as the heatwave continues across the UK). Jumping followers have a low grade meeting at Downpatrick to get stuck into, with the actiob getting underway at 1.45pm.

Tiger Bay
Salisbury 2:50 (UK time)
Henry Candy’s Lingfield winner made a promising start in handicaps at Goodwood last time out, sent off an unfancied 25/1 chance but finishing with running left in the tank in a closing fifth behind Sudden Ambush. She is open to plenty of improvement after just four career starts (three on the all-weather), and a more positive ride is on the cards here from Dane O’Neill.
Odds: NA
Michaels Choice
Salisbury 4:00 (UK time)
Eve Johnson Hougton’s 7-y-o handicapper is extremely well treated now on the best of his form in the last couple of seasons, and he returned to the fray with a cracking effort over this course and distance in May. A lesser effort last time at Lingfield is easy enough to excuse under a negative ride in a small field, and this class 5 sprint represents a significant drop down in class under Charles Bishop.
Odds: NA
