There are three meetings in Britain and Ireland on Sunday, with competitive low grade flat action from Musselburgh , Sligo and Wetherby sure to attract decent family crowds (and the recent rain very welcome particularly at the Scottish venue, which stages the first of the popular Sunday series fixtures).
In this article:
Wreck it Ryley
Musselburgh 3:45 (UK time)
Grant Tuer’s 3-y-o had been running well in victory and defeat on the all-weather throughout the winter months, and transferred that improvement to turf when finishing a cracking second at Ripon over 6f last time out. His proven race fitness could be a real asset against most of these sprinters, and the drop back to a sharp 5f should be no issue at all.
Odds: NA
Chealamy
Musselburgh 4:45 (UK time)
James Ferguson’s filly took a real step forward into handicaps when finishing second at Southwell on her seasonal reappearance, and there should be plenty more improvement now switched to the turf at Musselburgh on Sunday. The booking of the excellent claimer Billy Loughnane certainly increases confidence, and she is much less expised than all of these Class 4 rivals after just four career starts so far.
Odds: NA
