There are four meetings in Britain and Ireland on Sunday, with competitive jumps action from Ffos Las, Huntingdon, Leopardstown and Wexford providing some really competitive action throughout the afternoon. The drying ground has significantly reduced field sizes in the UK in particular in recent weeks, although watering should mitigate the worst of the exceptionally dry spell of weather, and conditions should be on the yielding side in Eire.

Lucy Wadham’s novice shaped really well on his hurdling debut over this course and distance in January, and had excuses when a shade disappointing at Newbury last time out. A return to this venue on decent spring ground should suit ideally, and perhaps Bryony Frost will ride a much more positive race here with stamina for the trip now well established.

He is a bold jumping frontrunner who is best dominating proceedings, and those tactics are never a bad plan of attack round here on drying ground.
