There are four meetings in Britain and Ireland on Sunday, with the final day of the Lincoln meeting at Doncaster and a cracking card at Leopardstown, supported by a good jumping cards at Ascot and Downpatrick. Soft ground seems sure to be the order of the day after a very wet week of weather across the UK, and stamina will be at a premium under both codes.

Ascot 1:50 (UK time)
Dan Skelton’s point winner has been turned over at short prices twice now since arriving at this excellent stable, but he has shaped well on each occasion and will relish the expected testing conditions at Ascot on Sunday. He is very much a three mile chaser on looks, and has got plenty of scope to improve past some more exposed rivals in this Class 3 maiden hurdle.
Odds: NA
Eaton Collina
Ascot 2:25 (UK time)
Kerry Lee has her team in terrific form at the moment, and her lightly raced 8-y-o showed much improved form to get off the mark over fences at the fifth attempt last time out at Chepstow. He jumped out to his right there at several fences, finding strongly for pressure up the long straight, and a switch to a right-handed track should be a big positive under regular rider Richard Patrick.
Odds: NA
