2:05	Sandown	FLYING FRONTIER	James Tate is well capable of getting one ready first time out, and the booking of James Doyle suggests this consistent handicapper will be primed to make a winning seasonal reappearance after 269 days on the sidelines.

3:00	York	SALT BAY	Ralph Beckett’s useful performer looked sure to be winning soon when making a promising seasonal reappearance at Newbury in April (first start off a gelding operation), and had excuses when slightly disappointing last time out.
3:20	Chester	BRUNEL NATION	Richard Hughes has maintained an excellent strike rate in recent months, and his improved handicapper caught the eye under a very negative ride at Goodwood last time out (finishing with running left in the tank having looked ill at ease on the undulations). Finley Marsh will need to be a lot more positive at this sharpest of tracks, but he remains with plenty of upside on the turf.
3:35	York	COVER POINT	Julie Camacho’s maiden winner starts off into handicaps this summer from an attractive looking mark, and seems sure to be fully fit first time up for this valuable Saturday prize. He is far less exposed than most of these rivals, and Sam James will be looking to weave his way through fast and latest in a typically wide open York handicap.
