John and Thady Gosden’s 6-y-o has not stood much racing in the past year or so, but he returned from nine months off with a very eye-catching effort here in November, and could sharpen up a touch for that run. He was dropped out in last and finished with running left over this course and distance, and Rab Havlin is likely to be much more pro-active now.

2:05	Chelmsford	Nick Vedder	This handicapper has been running well in defeat of late, and should get the strong pace to aim at.
2:25	Lingfield	Vision of Hope	George Boughey’s 3-y-o has shown just a glimmer of promise in three career starts so far, big prices and negatively ridden in three all-weather maidens/novices. She now starts off into handicaps from a potentially lenient opening mark, and the application of cash would certainly increase confidence of an improved showing under Daniel Muscatt.
2:40	Chelmsford	Man on a Mission	This 3-y-o is building a solid profile on the all-weather this winter, and looked a very unlucky loser when backed down to 10/11f over this course and distance at the start of the month.
