There are three scheduled meetings in Britain and Ireland on Monday, with NH fans in for an informative afternoon. They have Catterick and Plumpton to study on testing ground, with some decent handicaps to try to solve at the Sussex venue (where local trainer Gary Moore is usually worth following). AW fans have moderate action to study at Wolverhampton, with the lights coming on at 5.30pm and the handicaps looking especially competitive for the time of year.

Give me a Moment
Plumpton 2:45 (UK time)
Richard Bandey does extremely well with limited resources each winter, especially when the cash is down, and this 9-y-o can take advantage of a marked drop down in class at Plumpton on Monday. He has been sliding down the weights without cutting much ice in warm compnay in four starts so far this season, but showed a lot more zest at Newbury last time and can make all the running round this sharper track if able to dominate proceedings from the tape under Harry Bannister.
Odds: NA
Scarface
Plumpton 3:45 (UK time)
Joe Tizzard’s progressive young chaser got off the mark over fences at the fourth attempt when winning over this course and distance last month, and the manner of that win suggests he can defy a small rise up the weights. There should be plenty more improvement in the tank with the excellent Brendan Powell in the saddle again, and the presence of a couple of confirmed frontrunners should set things up ideally for his customary late charge.
Odds: NA
