Jim Goldie has his team in blistering form north of the border at the moment, and his consistent handicapper shaped really well over seven furlongs at Musselburgh last time out (finishing strongly when finally asked for an effort after the winner had flown). The return to a mile back at a more galloping track where he has run so well in the past should suit ideally, and he is fancied to give weight away all round under regular rider Paul Mulrennan.

A fast run 6f on eased ground would be his optimum conditions, and he can swoop late under James Sullivan if seeing daylight from the furlong pole.
