There are five scheduled meetings in Britain and Ireland on Friday, with NH fans in for an informative afternoon. They have Bangor and Kempton to study on eased ground after a wet few days across the country, with some decent handicaps to try to solve at the Sunbury venue (and some cracking novices on show from the top yards). AW fans have low grade action to study at Chelmsford, Dundalk and Wolverhampton, with the lights coming on at 5.15pm at the Essex and the handicaps looking especially tricky for the time of year.

Heaven Smart
Kempton 3:10 (UK time)
Gary Moore has his team in blistering form at the moment (with six winners in the last 14 days), and his long-standing maiden can get off the mark at the 18th attempt at Kempton on Friday. He has gone into the notebook on all three career starts over fences this winter, making a terrible early blunder when a creditable fifth at Lingfield last time out in slightly stronger company. A clean round should see him go close here, with the booking of the excellent claimer Caoilin Quinn increasing confidence.
Odds: NA
Bentleys Return
Kempton 3:40 (UK time)
Chris Gordon’s unexposed novice has been running well in defeat at Fontwell and Plumpton in recent weeks, travelling up strongly under restraint in fair novice company (having raced freely with the choke out in the early stages). He should relish this right-handed flatter track on eased ground now going into handicaps for the first time, and can pick these rivals off late under Rex Dingle.
Odds: NA
