We’re back with Premier League best bets for all four matches this Wednesday. Things are heating up at the top and bottom of the table with these vital rearranged fixtures. Both the top two are in action, as are two of the three sides caught up in the relegation battle. It’s a massive night for the Premier League.

Leeds vs Chelsea Best Bet

Leeds take on Chelsea in a massive match for the hosts. It’s a rivalry that dates back decades and one which is often fiercely contested. The match earlier in the season was no exception when a total of seven cards were shown at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have had the better of it since Leeds returned to the Premier League. Chelsea have won both matches at Stamford Bridge since the start of last season but the sides drew 0-0 at Elland Road last campaign. Leeds haven’t won any of their last seven meetings with Chelsea.

I’m expecting another exciting, emotional match at Elland Road. Six of Leeds’ last eight Premier League matches have had over two total goals. The Blues have seen an average of 3.4 goals per match in their last four Premier League away fixtures. Leeds have the highest average number of total match goals in the Premier League this season at 3.23.

So we should expect goals but I’m also anticipating cards. Leeds have received an average of 2.67 bookings in their home matches this season, the highest in the Premier League. Chelsea usually receive a couple of bookings per match too. Over on goals and cards looks a good bet here.

Leicester vs Norwich Best Bet

There are a lot of important matches in the Premier League this Wednesday. This isn’t one of them. Already-relegated Norwich travel to Leicester to take on a Foxes side aiming to push into the top half. It could happen for Brendan Rodgers’ men who should go 10th with a win here.

Unfortunately, they’ve had trouble against Norwich in the past. They usually take the points but goals often evade the Foxes. Leicester have scored only three goals in three matches against the Canaries since 2019. They did win 2-1 when the sides met at Carrow Road back in August.

I think they’ll have enough to take the three points here and I’m looking at the cards market to increase those odds. Unders looks the value bet considering Norwich and Leicester are both in the bottom 5 Premier League teams when it comes to cards received this season.

Watford vs Everton Best Bet

It’s a big match at the bottom as already-relegated Watford host Everton. The Toffees have taken a big step towards safety in recent weeks with consecutive wins over Chelsea and Leicester. It’s only the second occasion that Everton have won consecutive Premier League matches since March 2021.

They face a tough test here if the reverse fixture is anything to go by. The Hornets won 5-2 when the sides met at Goodison Park back in October. A win here will be Watford’s first-ever domestic double over Everton.

It’s six defeats in a row for Watford in the Premier League. It’s their longest streak of consecutive defeats in the top flight since 1973. They’re conceding freely, especially at home. Watford have conceded 41 goals at home in the Premier League this season. The Premier League record across a 38-game season is 43. I think that will continue and Everton will get the points.

Wolves vs Manchester City Best Bet

There’s no rest for Wolves who aim to follow up their comeback against Chelsea with a positive result against Manchester City this Wednesday. Wolves secured consecutive wins over City in 2019 but have since lost three in a row. Pep Guardiola’s men need to continue that run here as they close in on the title.

The Both Teams to Score market is intriguing here. On paper, it looks like a no-brainer. Both teams have scored in only 34% of Manchester City’s Premier League matches. That’s the second-lowest in the league behind Wolves at 31%.

Naturally, the prices are low for such a bet. I’m looking at other ways of boosting the odds and I see value in the corners market. Man City receive the highest average number of corners per match in the Premier League at 8.4. Wolves concede an average of 5.6 corners per game at Molineux, amongst the highest in the league. Backing City to secure a few corners can boost those odds above evens.
