There is a whole round of Championship action this week, and I’ve looked into some of my favourite cards and corner angles across all of the action. There is plenty to get stuck into as some early patterns have emerged after three league matches.
In this article:

Swansea have become used to dominating the ball under Russell Martin, but this doesn’t always translate to good results. The home side will have the freedom to knock the ball around here, and I expect that to result in them winning their fair share of corners.
Swansea have won five or more corners in each of their three league matches so far this season. They have generally struggled to break their opponents down; scoring just two goals in those matches. This has meant they’ve won a decent amount of corners as they commit meant forward.
Swansea had seven corners when these sides met at the Liberty Stadium last season, and they even managed to win five when they met at The Den. Swansea to win over 4.5 corners in the match is priced at 1.83 with bet365.

Norwich have made a bitterly disappointing start to the season, collecting just one point from their opening three games, when many are expecting them to immediately bounce back to the Premier League. They take on Huddersfield here, a team whose matches have been very corner friendly of late.
Norwich have had seven, nine and eleven corners in their three league matches this season. Huddersfield’s last 10 away matches are averaging 12.2 corners per game, so I’m expecting a fair few here.
We can get odds of 2.00 for over 10 Asian corners with bet365. This gives us additional security with money back if there are exactly 10, but the recent numbers suggest we should see more.

West Brom were unfortunate not to collect all three points in their last home match against Watford, but they were impressive in the way they dominated their promotion rivals. I’m expecting them to be dominant again here, and this should result in plenty of corners for the home side.
West Brom have had 12 and six corners in their two competitive home matches this season, while Cardiff are averaging just three corners in their last 10 Championship away matches.
The Asian corner handicap is set at odds of 1.95 for -3 West Brom corners on bet365. Steve Bruce’s side have shown they are capable of controlling a game for 90 minutes at home, and Cardiff have really struggled to win corners on the road recently.

Blackburn matches are averaging 4.84 cards per game over the course of last season and the start of this season, this is the most out of any side that has been in the league for both seasons, and I expect there to be cards here.
Blackburn have received two cards or more in their last four meetings with Reading, and they were shown four yellow cards in their last Championship match against West Brom.
Reading’s two competitive home matches this season have seen their opponents pick up two and three yellow cards, so the stats point to Blackburn getting a couple here.
The recent meetings between these sides have also seen very few corners. There has been no more than nine corners in the last nine head-to-heads. Reading’s last 10 league home matches are averaging just under nine corners, while Blackburn’s last 10 away are averaging just over nine.
Using the bet365 Bet Builder, we can get odds of 1.80 for under 12 corners in the match and Blackburn to receive two cards. I’m happy to back this given the stats leading into this one.

A football acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A football acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create football accas which is what we have created here. If one of these selections loses then the football acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed.
