Indiana is not the same team without Tyrese Haliburton. They have a -3.4 net rating in non-Haliburton minutes, and have lost all four since he suffered an injury. It is no surprise the Pacers are heavy underdogs when they face the Western Conference-leading Denver Nuggets on Friday night.

Once again, Nikola Jokic is leading the MVP race. Only 0.1 assists shy of averaging a triple-double, Jokic has been utterly dominant of late, and goes up against an Indiana defence which places in the bottom 10 over the last 10 games.

Jokic has three triple-doubles in a row, and five in his last six games. Foul trouble kept him to only 20 minutes of game time when the teams last met, which perhaps contributes to this price.

Miami is 7-3 over that period, with only four teams owning a better net rating. The defence remains elite, and the offence has begun to do enough. Comfortable on the road with recent wins against the Pelicans, Suns, Clippers and Jazz, the Heat had Thursday night off and should at least be able to stay close to a Dallas team which has lost five of six.
